The PPA Project
The PPA Project is a collaboration of several people from the Head-Fi and Headwize DIY communities to bring an advanced amplifier design to other DIYers.
The core of the PPA project is the PPA headphone amplifier board. It shares design elements with the META42 and one-off amplifiers created by ppl, plus it has some new ideas pioneered for the project.
This amp can be used portably as well as in stationary setups. To power the amp while mobile, we have created a NiMH battery board with an on-board fast charging circuit. To run the amp from wall power and charge the batteries, you can use generic wall warts, or you can use a high-end supply like the STEPS for better performance.
